Celebrity or no all behaviour is real and all behaviour is not. Most tabloid behaviour by celebrities is unlikely to be attention that they wanted to receive. In fact most celebrity make it into tabloids for being normal people. If anyone famous goes to a fancy dress party where the theme is transvestite, they will most likely make the cover of many tabloids. Were they screaming for attention? Most likely not.

When in front of a camera is a celebrity's behaviour staged? Most likely yes, that's their job, even when doing an interview, they need to maintain a certain persona to ensure they can still get jobs. Maybe they are just promoting their religion...Whoa Yeah lets bounce on a couch on opera. I'm sure I don't need to explain that last example.

Any thing staged is just an over emphasis of something real. In the end anything you see has to be real. To understand if celebrity behaviour is much different to non-celebrity behaviour we just have to look at society. Any amount of searching will yield similar results. We all fake behaviour everyday. When I talk to someone there am so much I wont say. If I walk up to a big-breasted lady. I would not say "hello, lovely big tits today" no matter how much it rings in my mind. Here I am suppressing a real thought or urge.

Are celebrities weird? Yes, are all humans weird? Yes. We just don't see most humans weird behaviour because it is not what we would dub newsworthy.

Staged or not, the people is real. The cases are real. This is their life stage.
