What is the number one book published throughout the world?
The Bible

What book has influenced more lives than any other book in the world?
The Bible

Which book is listed among the top 3 books that influenced most of the financial leaders on the Forbes 100 List?
The Bible

If one book has that much power over the world, why, pray tell, is it not analyzed in our school system? The main purpose of literature classes is to analyze and teach the written world. If one book and its authors continues to be able to influence millions every day, even in the present, wouldn't it seems obvious that its methods of writing should be an example to students everywhere?

Even taking religion out of the scenario entirely, the Bible must be recognized as the work of genius storytellers. In very few words, stories are told in a way that enables readers to vividly understand the messages trying to be conveyed. Isn't that what every author strives to do?

While it is true that love is the overall sentiment of the Bible, there are elements of every facet of literature within its pages. So, while certain truths of the highest nature are obviously conveyed throughout, the concrete, not abstract, stories of how those same truths came to be are revealed.

Most, if not all, of the same truths that are revealed in the Bible have been told-and retold by authors throughout the ages. This is not strictly by religious authors. Any book with morals to be told, which is true of every book, is revealing and reemphasizing the same messages written in the Bible.

It is a matter of learning what inspired writing is all about. And, isn't that what required literature classes try to do?
