Sounds of Two Lives Meshing

Dawn came in whispering clouds,
As soft wind rustled in sunlit trees
Church bells peeled with joyfulness,
While traditional music vibrated the air.
Flickering candles glowed, softly inaudible,
As delighted angels hummed with rapture.
Echoing memories wove their way into hearts,
And joyful tears slid silent down cheeks,
As her breathless beauty silenced the room.
Fragrant rose petals descended unheard,
As ivory satin swished down the aisle.
Measured footsteps were muffled and staid.
Earnest prayers rang out clear and hallowed.
Young hands trembled and quietly joined,
As two hearts pounded, trilling in ecstasy,
To unknown heights, as faith sang, sweet and pure.
Their vows were spoken with loving resolve,
Then their lips met at last, in one soundless kiss.
Two lives meshed as one: but only God heard
