The benefits of eating smoked salmon are like regular fresh salmon it's good food. Contains protein, less fattening than carbs. So it's good for your weight. Has lots of omega 3 oil which is good for your heart and from what Ive read it's also good for your brain. Besides being good for you though, smoked salmon is very tasty and all ready to eat. No cooking, no smelly fish pans or dishes. Just buy a pkg and eat, it's good on crackers, with eggs, alone or combined with other things such as a white sauce to use with spaghetti or mashed potatoes. A salad with lettuce or spinach tomatoes etc. There are as many recipes for smoked salmon as for many more well known foods. Just go to any food site and click in smoked salmon.I found smoked salmon artichoke dip,smoked salmon stuffed cherry tomatoes. Which I think would be great for party. There was also gourmet smoked salmon loaf and quesadillas and on and on. In fact I'm going to try some of them myself. They will be a treat for me as smoked salmon is rather expensive, but it's worth it. Where else can you get such a tasty dish thats also good for you? Not many places which is too bad, because if hamburgers and french fries were switched to smoke salmon, there wouldn't be so many obese people.
