word-processing program and do all your spelling and grammar checking there. When you're pleased with the result, save the final version in plain text, and paste that version into the Helium text box. Do a final formatting check before hitting Publish.

AUTO LOG-IN FEATURE

If you're tired of having to log in every time you come to Helium, there's now a way to do it automatically. The next time you log in, select the option for us to remember you. When you next visit, you will be logged in automatically.

EMAIL THIS ARTICLE

Now you can email articles to friends, family and colleagues. Just look for the email icon on every article page.

CONTACT THIS WRITER

Have feedback for a writer? We make it easy for you to email messages to other Helium members from an article page by clicking the "Contact this writer" button and from About Me pages by the clicking "Message User" icon.

The initial email comes from Helium - the sender will not be able to see your email address. If you reply to a "Contact this writer" email, it will go directly to the original sender and you will both have access to each other's registered email address.

You can turn off further emails from particular members by clicking on a link in the initial Contact this writer email. You can also opt out of receiving all Contact this writer emails from the original email or from your Account Settings page under the Privacy tab.

Remember, keep your comments to fellow members polite, constructive and positive.
