Searching for the definition of true peace

Peace in my opinion is the most important thing in a man's life. The opposite of peace is war and during times of war, man makes little progress.

War arises when there are disagreements and disputes between two groups of people. Whereas peace arises when there is complete agreement and no clashes between all people.

So what is the definition of true peace? True peace is that which prevails when there are no disagreements.

It would help to understand what true peace means if we would consider what it's like when a person is NOT at peace. Consider a person who is restless, anxious, suspicious and having hundreds of doubts in his mind. Such a person has many questions going on in his head and he feels frustrated when he is unable to know the answers to those questions. But supposing a person finds the answers that he is looking for, and I'm talking about true answers, it is at that point that the person will find peace.

In other words, when a person does not know what the truth is, his mind will not permit him to rest in peace. But the moment he finds out what the truth is, his mind relaxes and offers no more opposition or resistance. Hence, peace and tranquility descends upon the man who has found the truth.

And since we cannot have an opinion about the truth, it is but inevitable that everyone will be forced to agree. For example, everyone today has to agree that the earth is not the center of the universe. Everyone today has to agree that our universe in a state of expansion. Nobody disagrees. And where there are no disagreements, that's where there is peace.
