There is one thought that should be kept in mind: Would I do this if my partner were standing here beside me? If the answer is no, then there is something wrong with the action. Reverse the situation. Ask yourself, would I approve of my partner doing this?

I believe that the definition of cheating is different for every couple. As some may consider nothing but intercourse to be cheating, others may think cheating is as simple as a kiss. The terms for the word cheating must be an agreement between the two involved in the relationship.

If a person is "in love" with their partner, then what is the reason to stray? Being in true love with a person is to love that one person every way possible. Being in love is to be terrified of that person being hurt. If you are involved in something that you know in your heart your significant other would be hurt over, I'd say your probably "cheating".
