I enjoy a female vocalist too, like Eva Cassidy, Katie Melua, Natalie Imbruglia or KT Tunstall. The Scottish music sensation. "Eye to the telescope" is an excellent debut album containing "Suddenly I See" & "Under the Weather".

It's an album which has to be played from start to end, no skipping allowed, however the first times you listen to it, the songs "Suddenly I See" and "Black-horse and a cherry tree". The more time you listen to it, you notice towards the end "Stopping the Loving" & "Heal Over", both are beautiful songs that set the album up as a mercury prize album of the year.

KT got her big break on "Later with Jools Holland", a fantastic show, when she filled in for an American rapper. Not a straight forward change, but that made people sit up and hear the beauty sing.

The album works in many way's, it's guitar chords and riffs, the heavenly poetry like lyrics, and a very assured voice.

In all when I got the album, what seems an eternity ago, I was forever listening to the beautiful Scot.
