What God are You
- that brushes surrealistic art across my sky?
Who is it that blends the colours on the palette?
Impostors have tried, throughout the ages,
to copy your horizons and present
Them to the world as their own . . .but to no avail.
No one can place prismatic sparks of light -
so exquisitely.
No one adds that special burst of colour
like You do - perfected.
You deflect light, reflect images and dissect the hearts of men.
Yet You continue to display (to mere amateurs)
your splendid artistry.
You are constant, for You never stray from exhibiting masterpieces.
And they go on and on . . .
As far as the eyes,
You have given me,
can see.
