So many people don't believe in love as a teen, they call it puppy love, or other things. Yet, every teen that goes through it swears it is the real thing. I did the same myself, and I know now, as I did then, that it really was the big "L", true love. I remember every moment we had, from the first time we met, to the day we became official, to the first kiss. I remember all the fun we had, and all the fights we had, but always made up after. I remember when we first starting dating, he would call every week during the first month, on Sunday, wishing me a happy one, two, three, and four week anniversary. (We started dating officially on a Sunday.) He would stop what he was doing with his friends, specifically to call me if we were not together. He would get teased mercilessly, but he didn't care. We were in love. We spent every moment we could together, which included taking buses, taxis, walking, sneaking him in at a friend's house overnight every weekend when her mother was not home and more. We were each others entire world. The minute he got home from school he would call me, and we would talk for hours, about everything and nothing. And when I was upset about something, he was the first one I wanted, the only one I needed. And all he would have to do to help me through it, was hold me, and just look at me with those beautiful green eyes of his. I still say that I could see how much he loved me in his eyes, and it would send shivers through my body. My heart still skips a beat when my mind goes back to those days. No one has ever, to this day, made me feel more beautiful and loved as he did with just one look. And although we never took our relationship to the final step of being intimate, no one has ever evoked so many sensual feelings inside me. I remember all of those things.
The only thing I do NOT remember is why it ended, probably because I never got a reason from him. He called me one day, I had just gotten home from school, and as usual, I was excited to hear his voice, although I wondered why he was calling from his friend Danielle's house. However, the detached tone of his voice, and the words "I am sorry. I want to break up with you" drove away my elation. My lip began quivering and tears began to well up in my eyes, and in a shaky voice, I asked him, then begged and pleaded with him, to tell me he was only kidding, that it was some sort of cruel joke, to tell me that my whole world for the past 9 months wasn't collapsing on me. He
