Where am I?
What is this land I see - where the
dimensions fade and the winds blend with the
sea as if inseparable through time eternal?
Where the senses - not dulled, but so alive as to fight
for attention, weave in and out of each other
like finely spun silk.
Where the celebrations of Life quietly go on so
unassuming, its existence is seldom detected.
For to feel takes tears;
The saltiness in taste, as if plunging in the sea.
The moist sensation, the cleansing of the heart.
Listen!
Is that the spider artistically weaving the web?
The hummingbird savoring the nectar?
The steady, even heartbeat reminding you of Life
and its finely tuned network?
All having purpose - yet not all purpose understood.
Does the spider question the weaving of its web?
Does the hummingbird, knowing it must fly to feed?
As we feel the throb in our bosom,
we question not, nor do we understand.
For omniscience is not a characteristic which man has been chosen to bare.
Rather, let us as children, find this land.
And with simplicity, embrace the winds -
marry with the trees,
And rejoice in this celebration
that is not to be understood . . . but loved,
With all the senses we possess!

THE KEY TO ENJOYING LIFE
I want to rely on myself-
Nobody else.
Pick myself up when I fall.
Not count on others
To be my father
I want to quit my job today
And leave this place behind
I want to walk forbidden streets
In the shadows of my mind
I want to
How many days have passed you by
While you frittered away precious time?
Seize life and death you'll defy.
You've sat on the
