Are you beginning to see how an natal astrology chart could fit into all this? What goes on in the heavens is seen by astrologers as having an affect on the Earth. How it affects us depends on when and where we are. The energies of the heavens have specific affects on different parts of our globe that change as time passes and the planets move and the Earth spins.

As each of us enter this life, astrologers see the energies that are affecting the Earth at that specific moment, at that specific place where you were born as the guide to defining many areas of a person's life. Before anyone makes that leap to a predestined life, let me say, "No." There is no fatalism in a natal astrology chart. The choice is always ours whether to work with the energies that surrounded us at birth or to totally ignore them. I have to ask the question, though, if you had a way to make your life more abundant, less painful, more joyful, less chaotic, why wouldn't you use it?

In a vibrating Universe, where the observer has as much effect as the observed on any given situation, should we not use every tool available to understand who we are and what our potentials may be? Astrology is one of those tools.

Astrology, in all its many forms, has been around for millennia. It has been used by kings and other rulers, by the heads of big companies and many others to make big decisions they were facing. Winston Churchill and Adolf Hitler both had astrologers at their disposal during World War II.

In today's modern world, big corporations have seen the validity of astrology and have used it in their hiring processes as well as part of decision-making in their corporate day-to-day business. There are a fair number of investors who consult astrologers for trends in the economy and the stock market.

Why, then, shouldn't individuals use it to help them understand the whys and wherefores of their current existence and how to improve it? After all, although we are perfectly capable of swimming against the current of a river, it is always much easier, and less exhausting, to go with the current.

We live in a time when everyone is rushing; rushing to work, rushing home, rushing to take children to various activities, rushing through meals, etc. Through all this rushing, we have created for ourselves a world of stress and confusion. Many people have no idea what happened to the lives they imagined as children and young adults, but what they have bears no resemblance to that imagining. This only adds
