Parents should be allowed to cast as many votes as they have children?!? I don't know when I have read something more ridiculous! Should a person with four children have more say in an election than a person with no children? Absolutely not. I suppose this is someone's idea to represent the interests of children in an election. But, if you are a parent, you should be representing the interests of your children when you vote. Personally, I vote for the candidate who best represents my views and concerns. And my views and concerns are for my children and my family as a whole. Does that mean that I need to be given extra votes? No. That is the equivalent of giving children the right to vote. So, if people want to give children the right to vote, then give them that right. But don't give extra votes to their parents. Their are plenty of parents who vote against their own interests and for catchphrases and pretend morals. We shouldn't give these people any more weight in our political system than they already have.
