When I was 10, my fifth grade teacher told me the first quote I ever head, or at least the first quote I could remember.

"Believe you can and you're almost there."

I found out later that it was a quote from Theodore Roosevelt and it has been one of my favourites ever since. As a bunch of 10 year old's, we didn't know exactly what she meant until she explained to us that all we had to do was believe we could do something, and it could be done. She told us this when we complained about an assignment she had set out for us, and I think it worked wonders on the class as whole because we were all excited to start it after she told us.

Though this is most definitely my favourite quote, there are many more that I find to be very inspirational and Worth remembering. To save you the trouble of reading every single one of them, here are my top ten, in no particular order:

1. "the only man whose makes no mistakes is the man who never does anything" - Theodore Roosevelt
2. "what the superior man seeks is in himself. What the mean man seeks is in others" - Confucius
3. "by desiring little, a poor man makes himself rich" - Democritus
4. "do not be awestruck by other people and try to copy them. Nobody can be you as effectively as you can" - Norman Vincent Peale
5. "in giving advice, seek to help, not please, your friend" - Solon
6. "laugh at yourself first, before anyone else can" - Elsa Maxwell
7. "we are rich only through what we give, and poor only through what we refuse" Anne-Sophie Swetchine
8. "you can't build a reputation on what you're going to do" - Henry Ford
9. "train yourself to let go of things you fear to lose" - George Lucas
10. "happiness depends upon ourselves" - Aristotle

Hopefully these quotes provide you all with the same amount of inspiration and belief they provide me.
