Without doubt, De Niro and Pachino are two of the best actors to ever entertain us! But, if you compare the different roles portrayed by both, there is a tremendous difference between the two!
We all know Pachino for his roles in "The Godfather" movies, and "Scarface". However, if you think back to his greatest role since these blockbusters, it's hard to find! Pachino did something a little different with his role in "Scent Of A Woman', but not enough to cause any "ooh's and awe's"!
Now, when you speak of De Niro...This man has played so many different parts, and made you feel every kind of emotion! The tear jerking movie "Awakenings" with Robin Williams, where he portrays a man with Alzheimer's to the tee! Then we move on to "Cape Fear"! He sure as hell scared me! He directed and starred in "A Bronx Tale", where he is a concerned father, who is trying to keep his son clear of the mob! These are just o few of his great achievements!
Still, to this day, when I see a preview for an upcoming Robert Di Niro or Al Pacino movie!, I'll say "that's gonna be good!" These two fine actors will remain an asset to the entertainment industry!
