Believe
I thought I saw a fairy
but was possibly mistaken
silver wings, smallish voice
leaving me with no choice
but to begin, yet again
For some time it was tranquil
then a maelstrom of fey fury
exploded in the sylvan glade
and the emerald promenade
made my eyes go blurry
Dumbfounded did I stand
mesmerized by the sight
of the infinite galaxies
that nobody truly sees
behind another's eyes
It bothered me some time
so I sat underneath a tree
"Dear fairy, I implore
tease me no more.
What do you want from me?"
I admit I was shaken
this you can conceive
and she said with mercy
"Kind sir, you SEE
I exist because you believe."
