A fight between Batman and Superman

Holy superhero dilemma Batman!

You're first and most obvious choice is going to have to be Superman. The guy can level mountains, has gone toe to toe with some big time baddies. Then again, Batman, for what he lacks in physical power, makes up for with brains.
And as we have seen in the past, (The Dark Knight Returns) Batman, given enough time and planning, actually beat Superman. So here is my take...

The darkness of the night finds illumination from the moon and intermittent flashes of lightning surging into the atmosphere. The slow rumble of thunder helps to muffle the traffic on the streets below. The impending storm is Heaven's way to introduce the combatants.

Perched motionless atop Gotham City's tallest structure, Wayne Towers, stands the Dark Knight. His flowing cape rides the wind currents. His cowl reveals only white pupil less eyes and his stony profile. He awaits his opponents arrival. He knows his opponent won't be late.

On foot commuters making their way home have no idea what has passed by them on the streets. They can only feel a gust of wind that pushes ladies dresses up and knocks the hats off of the men in trenchcoats. A faint streak of crimson and blue is seen by a few of the more attentive commuters. The Man of Steel is making his way from Metropolis to the unforgiving streets of Gotham City. This is Bruce's town, he knows it. He also knows where he will be able to find his former friend.

Superman touches down on the gravel rooftop flawlessly. Another rumble of thunder accompanies his landing. He takes no time to see the outline of pointed ears and flowing cape. "It doesn't have to be like this Bruce!"
The Caped Crusader stands in silent stoicism. "Always the strong silent type, eh Bruce?" The Last Son of Krypton strides towards Batman. A clap of thunder again is doled out by the heavens. Before the rumble exits the sky, Superman is stopped in his tracks by a flash of light.

Superman's extraordinary olfactory quickly recognizes magnesium. A flare. The belt. Batman and is utility belt score first. As Superman's sight begins to correct itself and he continues forward, his feet are locked by two clamps taking refuge around his boots. Suddenly the Man of Steel is hit by a surge of electricity. The lights on 4 city blocks flicker. Street lights have shut off and are now trying to regain their illumination. Superman is being electrocuted. The smell of burning hair starts to fill the air. His fingertips begin to blacken.

The surge ends and Superman is
