The holocaust happened during world war 2 and yes, six million Jews were placed in gas chambers and put to death. That war was indeed the big one but ask someone that was alive during that war how many solders gave their lives to fight for this country and you will find out it was eighty million. I can't for the life of me remember the last time we heard a death toll like this and whenever someone talks about that war they always talk about the six million, so what of the eighty million? Do we just forget about those who gave their lives and single out the Jewish that suffered? Yes, the holocaust was real but the bigger picture was a statistical horror. From now on I think we should feel the grief of all the people and these were Americans and religion should not have any bearing on the case.
