What do condominium dues cover?

Living in a condominium means a complete life style change of most things
that cost money. Some people say it is cheaper and some say it cost more. Here is
what the cost will be.These prices will go up a little as the condominium gets
older. This is around every two years.

#1 The electric for street lights and other lights around where cars are parked. This also covers any lights around swimming pools or tennis courts. In some

cases this may also be the porch light.

#2 There is a different insurance for things on the outside of the condo
such as people getting hurt at the swimming pool or people slipping on ice. If
the condo is near a river ,there will also be flood insurance cost. Most of time
the insurance will also cover storm damage.

#3 The cost of grass cutting and trimming of trees and bushes. If there is
a lake ,some of dues will be used to keep it clean. This also will be for the cost
of removing snow.

#4 The water for inside and outside for watering the grass.Of course when
you have water you have a sewage cost.

#5 The cost of having a outside company manage things such collecting dues,
small bank charges, and sometimes legal cost for doing this.

When condominiums are new the dues are lower because until the buildings
get older there is no way of knowing what the cost are.The older condominiums
dues will always be higher.
