So you wanna learn about the Saber?
Well then. Before we start you must understand couple of things. Saber is a Fencing weapon that involves sword play, and even though the blade does not have any sharp edges to it, it can hurt one badly. Now that we cleared that out, lets get started:

The Saber is the fastest weapon of all three weapons. It is the lightest weapon and is the only one to have a "belguard" around the handle- where one holds the weapon. The Saber is a weapon of aggression, where one may find many of his opponents to be extremely violent; especially the ones who are quite the "noobs." I remember from last year when I was present at the State Tournament. I was up against a man of 6'4" with quite a frown on his face. At first I was scared to death- afraid of the fact that this man was double my size. However, as the match started, I realized that this guy was only a noob and knew nothing about fencing. The fact that he was new to the sport was quite relaxing, until the third point of the match. He, just like any other noob, wasn't quite sure of the rules. As every fencer who fences Saber knows that there is a "Right of Way," and that the target area is only from the waist level up (excluding the hands). So, at the third point this man decided to attack my left hand- which is not allowed- seeing that there was no protective glove on the skin, he jabbed his sword towards my finger and unfortunately my reaction time was too slow to realize his cruel actions. Thus, his sword pierced through my finger- making it bleed non- stop.

As you can see, my idea is not to scare you- I do not believe that there is any sport that does not incur injuries. Saber is a weapon that requires speed and a little precision.
