Can you really compare Tom Brady to Peyton Manning. Peyton Manning is probably the best quarterback since Joe Montana. Tom Brady on the other hand, just throws the ball where the defenders aren't. Literally! With the news surfacing of the Patriots tape recording opposing teams? That is like Mark McGuire going to the Hall Of Fame.

Peyton Manning goes out there every week and reads the defense and calls the best play for the situation. There aren't many quarterbacks that do what he does week in and week out. Now I'm from Pittsburgh, so you know how hard it is for me to say that about Peyton Manning.

Up until a couple of weeks ago I would have thought this was too close to call. Now, every time I think of Tom Brady, all that comes to mind is cheating. Of course it is not his fault, it's Belichick's fault. Brady just goes out there, Belichick gives him the defenses play, and he does the opposite. The defense plays run, he throws deep. The defense plays the long ball, they run it up the gut. The defense plays no long ball, he throws the hot route. You can't do that unless you know what is coming. Unless your Peyton Manning and you make that read yourself and you don't need to cheat.

I think that if you know what the defense is playing anyone can be a good quarterback. Peyton Manning is just a great quarterback. Everyone knows it. Sure he has some choking issues, but now he has that monkey off his back. Look for Peyton Manning to break out of his shell.
