I believe that if kids had courses in the bible, they would have a better understanding of what their life is all about. I can honestly say that not only to teach them from the Bible, but the Koran too, so these kids have a knowledge of the world and their purpose. There are differences in teaching of both, but that is the purpose of teaching a child that religion is different in a lot of cultures and to understand them better is important for all cultures.

The reason our kids are confused or have no direction is because they don't know enough about the Bible. Even as important as the Bible is, it was still in part written by man. Man is foul-able, God is not. What most parents fear is their child getting the wrong information from the Bible by the teacher. Interpretation of the Bible has varied from the truth, to the individuals beliefs to what the Bible or Koran are saying. There the problem lies there in and for centuries all cultures have made their interpretations of the written word to fit their own beliefs. This is why the Bible is not taught in any public schools. Catholics and Protestants along with Muslim and Jews alike have drawn the line in the perpetual sand when it comes to the teachings of the Bible or the Koran.

How can we help our kids if we don't have prayer in the schools? Not just Christians, but any religion of a culture rich society. The government's solution is to abolish it from our schools and this is not their area of expertise. They put the emphasis on other things they think more important so they don't have to deal with the sensitive debates on religion. Controversy of religion would make it feasible for the "FLCIO to omit prayer and teachings by saying that teaching the Bible in schools threatens other cultures beliefs.

To make a separation of church and state as preceded by our Constitution the government really has no say to what a person should believe or not. It says that you have the freedom of religion and to worship the God of your choice. Therefore all men are not created equal in the eyes of man. "Why" ? Because each religion thinks their religion is better. Jesus told us to be "fishers of men." Not teaching God's work is like going fishing without the bait. You want catch many fish with out the bait or the word of God.

Today many people are not allowed to exchange their religious concepts between nations in a peaceful manner. I wish they had offered a course in high school when I attended of all the different
