Come on girls admit it . The best contraceptive is the word "No." Your mother must have taught you to use that word but most of you don't listen to good advice and so you try other means.

The tennis ball is one form you can try. You hold the tennis ball firmly between your knees and if you drop it you've got to stop whatever you are doing and read a book instead.

A good fright delivered at the right moment can be quite effective . "The doctor told me three more weeks of injections just might cure my aids." Now that is a guaranteed passion killer.

Unfortunately all of the above fail miserably in the heat of the moment and so we have the many reliable means of contraception available today .

Now you may have gathered that I'm a male ,judging by my weak attempt at humor but I can tell you girls in all sincerity ,never trust a man with responsibility for contraception. With men its like trying to remember a wedding anniversary ." I forgot" is just not good enough. "If its not on its not on " is well worth remembering,an oldie but goodie.

With the exception of sterility , I would say the most effective contraception is the birth control pill. It has been available on the market for several years however there still remains some doubt as to its safety. I'm not being sexist here. I do believe there is research into a male birth control pill but girls remember " I forgot" doesn't go over too well when it's you that falls pregnant.Suffice to say that if men bore babies instead of women ,one hundred percent safe contraception would have been discovered years ago.

So if you ask me again what is the best contraceptive I would still say use the word "No." If you are a girl who can't say no ,don't get yourself into a terrible fix. Take up tennis, singles only,or take the pill if you want to play mixed doubles.
