5 tips to make your next party AMAZING!

You've all been to them and you all dread having one of your owna party FLOP! Everyone dreams of creating (and of course hosting) the most amazing party that becomes the legendary talk of the town. However, not everyone is equipped with the right ideas to make it happen. Therefore, here are five basic party tips that will have your friends (and acquaintances) talking for months about your amazing party!

1. Good parties always need some sort of "theme," however you don't have to get too carried away. Something as simple as a house warming party, pool party, black and white party, or a simple cocktail party are basic enough themes to get everyone pumped and not too much to get you stressed. Some more elaborate themes, once you've mastered the simple theme parties would be a: masquerade party, toga party or a Halloween party, but you'll get to those later.
- Note: if you're having a party that requires some sort of "costume," make sure that your guests take this to heart. You don't want the majority of your guests coming out of character and making the ones "in the spirit" feel out of place.

2. If you're having a dinner party, make sure people REALIZE this. Many times, the name "dinner party" gets thrown around too often and the host or hostess spends hours slaving over a hot stove only to realize that their guests have already eaten. Naturally at a cocktail party, small appetizers are appropriate and guests should realize that they should not come to the party feeling ravenous. SPECIFIY: Cocktail v Dinner party.
-Note: If you're having a dinner party, make sure you select a recipe that you are CERTAIN you have perfected. Never try something new on your guestschances are unless you are a world renowned chef, you'd be better off having something you KNOW is good rather than making your guests feel uncomfortable, or sick. Also, make sure you make a veggie dish and a meat dish, just in case there are those who prefer one or the other (unless of course you know all of the guests' dining preferences quite well.) Also, make sure your not rushing your guests. The last thing people want to do is be rushed while their eating. Lastly, if you're not a good cook, spare yourself and your guests the misery and DON'T have a dinner party!

3. Besides a dinner party, where everyone is mainly sitting down for the majority of the evening, you want to create a nice atmosphere for your guests so that everyone feels "included"
