The battle of the plains
Buffaloes gather in herds,
above them, a flock of birds.
They have strength in numbers,
but some are in their slumbers.
On the other side,
meeting in their pride,
are the muscular lions,
with powerful claws of iron.
As the zebras and the gazelles watches on,
The time passes and the excitement is gone.
While the lions sneak passes the defences,
The buffaloes watch on in ignorance.
It is time for the lions to strike,
They see everything they like.
Fat and juicy buffaloes lying on the ground,
The lions sneak even closer without a sound.
The buffaloes smell a scent.
An enemy one hundred percent.
They search frantically for the source,
Found it, but it was too late to be cross.
They scene was chaotic,
And everyone was frenetic.
The plains no longer exotic,
And things is about to get tragic.
Dusts flew everywhere,
Buffaloes running here and there.
Most got away,
But it's not the end of the day.
A young buffalo was surrounded,
A bird saw and the alarm have been sounded.
The buffaloes stopped running,
And they began planning.
They saw three lions surrounding the poor kid,
The mother buffalo was so angry she could not keep her lid.
They have to think of something fast,
And that's when they remembered the past.
