Danger Of Cell Phone Use.

Ok, short-term phone risk has been ruled out in the latest studies carried out by medical and other scientific research. Further research is needed into their long term impact and their effect. After all how many of us have been using them for ten years plus? I certainly have.The technology is already twenty years old.

More importantly, what are the effects on children who's brains are still developing. How many children now carry mobiles from very early ages. Its not unusual to see kids as young as six carry one around. It's a great idea as far as safety concerning their whereabouts, or if they find themselves in trouble and need Mom or Pops help. But what is the LONG term effect on our youngsters who can't put their phones down for more than a minute at a time. You know how they are, forever phoning their friends even if they have nothing of importance to say.

It's good to talk.

But is it good to talk so much?

A six-year research programme found no assotiation between cell phone use and brain cancer. Nor did it find evidence of brain function being affected.
But the impact of phone use after more than a decade is less clear.

Cancer symptoms are rarely detectable until ten to fifteen years after the cancer producing event, so it is too ealrly to 'say
for certain' wether cell phonescould lead to cancer or other deseases such as Alzheimer's aand Parkinson's.

Futher research into phone use and its impact on children is certainly needed
because it is possible they may have different or stronger reactions to phone signals than adults.Results are so far reassuring, but there is still a need for more research.
