Article ToolsWhat are hand sanitizers? The are new products that usually have a high alcohol content because that is the ingredient that is supposed to cleanse the area quickly. Remember every time you get a shot how the nurse wipes the area with an alcohol swab? Well hand sanitizer is the liquid on the swab, now in a bottle with a few smell good additives. That's the simplest way to say it. No, it should not replace soap. Yes I think it's good to use with soap, but should definitely not replace soap. We need our suds. The best case scenario that I've seen is to use a sanitizer when you are at your job, and you sneeze, get the sanitizer, squirt on your hands, and now you can touch your phone again. Worst case scenario that I have heard of is because of the high alcohol content, a person who is a chronic alcoholic, drank it when he was out of liquor. So, Should we keep it, yes, there is a market for it. Should we eliminate soap, no.
