The benefits of free trade

We are going to talk about the benefits of free trade in this article. First of all, what is free trade? I provide you with a definition from wikipedia: "Free trade is a market model in which trade in goods and services between or within countries flow unhindered by government-imposed restrictions."

Compared with the normal trade, free trade enjoys more freedom from the government restrictions, and in turn, we can definitely draw a conclusion that it has more power to accelerate the speed of globalization. To the citizens of this globe, it is good news. Because of it, we can buy things worldwide, which can make our purchase range wider, and the price lower. Also, we can enjoy better service for the invisible competitions among the suppliers.

Of course, we never deny that the free trade has caused headaches for many companies and factories, not only in USA, but also in Europe, Asia, Africa etc. Why? Because they find that they have to face the problems of survival. They may have to close the business for their lack of power to compete against the other global providers. Nevertheless, it is the development of economy, domestic and abroad. It is very natural, and it is the process of reassignment of tasks in the global economic system. To most of us, we are the customers who can benefit from the free trade. As we know, free trade can make the prices of products lower, so, with the same amount of money, we buy many more things.

This is in a narrow sense, and it is the basic benefit for us. Broadly speaking, it helps the communication between countries, and it can speed the global wealth, with which, if we can handle it properly, it can help solve the problems of poverty. Further, it makes people understand other other better. Commodities reflect cultures.

Free trade can help to make it a better world for us to live in. That's the trend of tide.
