" I have to make a speech" involuntarily appears in your mind. Very quietly, think this several times in your mind. " I have to make a speech", " I have to make a speech", " I have to make a speech", and "I have to make a speech"
After a few repetitions alter the sentence to "I plan to make a speech" once again, repeat this new sentence. Detect any subtle differences, which you may feel in your body or mind.
Next, repeat your initial thought, "I have make a speech " but this time change the thought to " I choose to make a speech" once again repeat it over and over observing the differences in your body and mind as you allow this empowering thought.
Now change to a very constructive thought like " I enjoy giving speeches" and say again over and over quietly in your mind. As before compare this with the feeling in your body and mind with the original "I have to make a speech"
We can all observe the many limiting and negative thoughts in our lives. It is so easy to change them one by one with the above exercise, by quietly repeating a limiting, negative thought and replacing it with a more empowering, positive one and repeating this quietly.
Every time you identify a negative thought, do this exercise. Practice and practice. It will not be long before you start seeing the positive results and your life improving
