FINAL UPDATE: Be aware of false accusations of cheating. The use of 'whisk' in the beginning of the instructions for a recipe constituted 'cheating' and I was booted from the system. Eight years as a respected reporter in my community and Review Stream lets me go. Just be careful. There are better ways to make money, more ways to make money. And your honor will not be scathed.

ANOTHER UPDATE: I just learned that Review Stream published three more of my reviews (7 May 06). I am excited, but still have not received notification of the amount they decided to pay. Now, they have published nine. They are great about publishing, but I have yet to receive a formal letter that indicates where I stand toward my payout of $50.
UPDATE: I am still not sure about Review Stream. I just learned that Review Stream Published five of my reviews between May 1-2, but did not inform me that they did so. So, I am wondering if I will be paid, regardless of the regular rate or the bulk rate. Perhaps it is a good sign that it published in the first place. I hope I did not work for free.
I am glad that someone asked. On 27 April 06, I discovered Review Stream while answering a question on HK. I was excited. The more I read, the better the cite looked. I am a former writer, now disabled, and was eager to write. Well, that evening, I submitted four pieces (average of 180 words each). On Friday I did two more. Now it is evening 30 April and I have heard nothing. So, to answer your question, NO, I have not actually earned a dime, let alone $50 with Review Stream. The reason I am so skeptical now is that all I have heard is that people hear from Review Stream within two days. Perhaps I will hold tight.
