A VIEW ON CONFORMITY
Imagine all of us just the same,
Talking alike, walking alike, being alike,
How long could we stand looking alike?
A billion look alikes,
A billion think alikes,
Though would be enough to make a night(mare).
No, we are all uniquely different,
That's the beauty of God's creation,
Every rose is still a bit different,
From others on the bush.
We are pieces in God's golden puzzle,
Put together, making a picture of splendor,
Conformity makes the picture less than glorious,
Variety, being the spice of life.
We conform to blend for reasons,
Our individuality stripped,
Our own thoughts and wills stored on the back burner,
For the sake of oneness- but whose oneness?
Conformity is more of a factory thing,
Stamping out the same little pieces,
Monotonous, boring, and yet necessary,
A production thing, void of original creativity.
Everything in nature teaches
Art, design, beauty, and difference,
We shall not agree on our views on conformity,
However, I maintain- that's the way it should be.

foaming with rabid confessions.
Matted brains
painting the stone
I had a dream that I gave away the strings on my guitar
Then my art teacher told me I was too young to fall apart.
When dismemberment
In no sense less
It's seems the way we live today,
We cannot see what's in our face.
Minuscule things block our
