Should teens have sex education in schools?

As far as I'm concerned, sex education is the parent's job. Some of our schools just haven't done that great of a job of educating our kids the way it is. There are so many people who graduate from high school not being able to read, much less knowing the rights and wrongs of sex education. Sex was created for one reason...as something that's shared between husband and wife. It was also created to be taught to children by parents. Sex education should also be started long before a child becomes a teenager. I have two children and really don't like the idea of the school district teaching them sex education, which is why they will be homeschooled. Parents need to take a more active role in educating their children. Some parents who don't take an active role make it harder for those of us who do. Public schools who do sex education don't always send home the right message and the children or teenagers end up asking questions of moral issues. Moral issues like sex education is a subject that should be taught by the parents.
