BITTER
Today, I am so calm
Quiet, much thought on my mind
Trying to find the right spot
To release tension, to unwind.
For the scores of time
Have steeped in my heart
They have lingered far too long
From me they must depart.
All the lies, the deceit
The trickery you have used
My time, my love, my money
My love, I find you've abused.
I sit at home and ponder o'er
What next, I should do
I'm a person of respect, pride
I cannot hurt you.
So, I decide to forgive
Toss my cares as litter
I am a woman of God
I will not be bitter!

thinking of the hurtful speech.
Wondering why he had to be cruel,
and makes the sand being
I watch him
With out any love
All of the old valour a thin, velvet exterior.
Nothing more luxurious than make believe.
