it is bad to see children from military background lose their parents at their prime all in the name of serving their beloved country. a case in point is the Irag war. so many people,children for the emphasis of this write up are going through agonising periods with its antecedent psychological effect which may blur their patriotic spirit if not appreciated in one way or the other.college tuition discount for me is one way to appreciate the sacrifice of their parent,it is another way to make this children grow up to realise their dreams in life in the event of an untoward circumstances in future.many parents in the military do not spend quality time with their children because of the nature of their work especially those who serve outside the shores of the united state,tuition in a way can fill that parental void.
i come from a military background in nigeria and my father died in active service in 1996.Aside from the little entitlement we got when he died, i had to pay my way through university and it was not easy for me.i support college tuition discount and it would encourage people to join the military.
