Are we safer now than we were immediately after 9/11, or have we just been lucky? Well, here in the Hawaiian Islands there is a saying; "Lucky you live Hawaii". I bet people didn't feel that way on December 7th, 1941! With certainty, we are not safer now than prior to 9/11. Practice makes perfect, If at first you don't succeed try and try again, learn from your mistakes, the only risk a man can take is to take no risk at all. Do you believe these are "American Ideas Only"? Come on, Practice makes perfect! We have not had another attack because terrorists have learned from their mistakes, not due to better cooperation between our alleged "Intelligence Agencies". We are not safer than ever we are in more danger every single day. Is it assumed that terrorists are unintelligent, unconditioned, and uncontrolled? Quite contrary, they are intelligent, very conditioned and superbly controlled. Patience is a virtue! Terrorists are patient. they are disciplined in their desire for instant gratification....it will come, and when it does it is indeed instant! Remember 9/11? No folks, we are not safer now, I wont even say we have just been lucky, our defense against invasion, terrorists is in its infancy. Live and learn. I do feel pretty lucky I live Hawaii. I often have wondered if terrorists would make a move in the Hawaiian Islands......Why not? The Japanese did? No, we are not safer now. Our nation does not maintain adequate defenses against attack by hostile terrorists and there is nothing safe or lucky about it! We are a nation at war. We are not living in a time of peace.....what is that saying?"all is fair in love and war" War has been declared and it mobilizes nation against nation.
