I cannot help the way they look at me.
That is not who I am.

I cannot change the way they feel.
I don't think I can.

I cannot kill another soul.
I will not hurt my fellow man.

I cannot change the cards I deal.
You had the winning hand.

I cannot fight what you think you "may" see.
I will close the dam.

And if by chance "some-day" you seek again, to find the love you "need".
I may have gone back, you see, back to "Never and no man-land".
