The study and need for psychology reminds man that he is not a god and will always be subject to human frailty. The womb is suppose to be a safe place from birth defects but sometimes in the womb is where you find the greatest damage. A child can be born with psychological problems or the environment can be the cause. Either way the psychologist must draw a conclusion based on birth or environmental factors.

The origin of psychology started with Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel. Was Cain in his right mind when he killed his brother Abel? Psychologically speaking, Yes - it was a planned murder. Environmentally speaking, Yes! Spiritually speaking, No - hate was the emotion that fueled him. In short psychologists deal only with the physical/natural, prescribing medications to solve problems. Psychology may help the outside but can't heal the inside.
