stranger than fiction, so hide when my anger has risen
this dangerous vision has turned straight to a mission
if this razor inscription's, enough to make an incision
hopefully, this dead man walking won't be taken for living
cause this zombie has a head board for a tombstone
and inscribed on the wood it reads hell is his new home'

and basically, if Satan traded me for my crude soul
it'd be fair exchange, like killing two birds with two stones
I've slept with the wolves and drank blood with the beasts
muttering speech, catch glimpse of guts on my teeth
but I'm hunting a piece of something better than flesh
because my mom still hasn't called for an exorcist yet
remember? I'm dead, slowly fading, wasting away
angels can pray, but make believe won't save me today
either way this route I take, won't lead to the right stairs
because nothing can save you when you're dreaming for nightmares

I'm dreaming for nightmares, hoping for death
lone and depressed, the overdoses slowing my breaths
as potions inject, the first dose is potent at best
second needle, less than lethal, puts rodents to rest
open this chest, don't sweat the decomposing of flesh
rein carnation flowers', or just arose from the dead'?
with blood on the petals, and some thorns on the stem
I hate this life, but at least I wasn't born like them
alley cats and hound dogs more shady then ground hogs
letting a couple rounds off cause of how much that pound costs
sound on sound off, is anybody listening?
it's the time to shine, but is anybody glistening?
nothing left now but retreat to the new home
no lies, hope died, and your reading it's tombstone
