HEDGEHOG SLICES

Being the complete and utter chocoholic that I am, this recipe was great to eat and so easy to make. Seriously easy, I mean I thought I'd misread the directions when I first made them. They literally took me 15 minutes to prepare and they were ready to eat within the hour.

INGREDIENTS:
- 180 grams Butter
- 2/3 Cup Milk
- 1 Cup Caster Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Cocoa
- 2 x 250 grams Biscuit Packets (Any biscuits will do as long as they're not cream filled)
- 2 tblsp Desiccated Coconut
- 2 tsp Vanilla Essence

METHOD
- Grease baking tray and line with baking paper, making sure to cover the edges.
- Combine butter, milk, sugar, cocoa and vanilla essence in a saucepan.
- Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved , then bring to boil and remove from heat.
- Place biscuits in plastic bag and roughly crush with a rolling pin. Make sure you keep the biscuits in medium sized chunks.
- Tip crushed biscuits in a large bowl, pour butter mixture on top, and mix well.
- Press mixture firmly into the baking tray and sprinkle with desiccated coconut.
- Refrigerate until firm.

Makes approximately 30 pieces.
