swimming is the best and easiest thing to learn. just learning to swim well, heres an easy way to learn.
first when you get in the water kick with your legs and don't stop if you don't have good arm strength. start rotating your arms in a circle motion and just keep that up. when you go to breath just move your head it makes it easier to swim. trust me on that your body and you head well make a little dip in the water so you can breath.
after you get this down you keep pretty much swim. if you want to swim competitively then you have to know how to do a flip turn. when doing a flip turn all you do is when you get to the wall just kick your legs over your head and you'll hit the wall when you hit the wall push off and just kick your legs until get up to the top of the water and then start moving you arms once again. and now you can swim and do a flip turn so you do not have to stop. now all you have to do is have fun.
