I had a heart until it died
I fought a war once or twice
I ran away tomorrow
I thought to say don't bother
I meant to be something else
I used to feel, it's how I felt
I clinched my fist, opened my heart
I loved myself more than I could
You had a mind and let it fly
You won a war and then you died
You let yourself fade away
You never thought of what to say
You meant to be just what you were
You used to think, that I'm sure
You forked your tongue, cut out the world
You let yourself become undone
