Anyone that believes in today's world we can play Mr. Nice Guy and ask for information politely and get it are fools. The War on Terror is not a game that children play. This is real, and getting the necessary information from Terrorist that have been captured is crucial in the survival of America.
How much more evident can they be. Did they not attack us on our own soil, without being provoked on 9-11. Do you think for one minute they stopped to think about the innocent Americans on those planes, or in those Towers? No they did not care. People that show that much disregard for human life, can not be reasoned with. I would also point out the way they have treated their hostages. Whats a little torture compared to having your head cut off and the video of this horrific event being broadcast on the television, and Internet for the whole world to see. I can not imagine watching those videos if that was my child, or husband.
Liberal Americans need to wake up and smell the coffee. This is a whole new world that we live in after the attacks on 9-11. If the thought of torture disgusts you, then don't think about it. Leave that work up to Special Forces that have been trained to handle it. Sleep tight in your bed every night knowing that the information that is obtained will save American lives. Personally speaking I wish those that lost loved ones in the attacks should be offered the opportunity to dish out at little revenge on the terrorist that are captured. Maybe some would not wish to participate and that is fine. But for those that wish to, I would like to see them get that chance.
What we see on our televisions in the Middle East, is coming this way. There is no telling how many of those heartless creeps (for lack of a better word) are right here in America today. Think, if an uneducated, poor Mexican can get across our border then how difficult could it be for someone that has the amount of resources not to mention hate that these people have for us in their hearts to get across? Without the intelligence that is collected (by whatever method is needed) we would not be able to track these people. Do you want to be next? Do you want to see your family or friends murdered at the hands of these terrorists? If you answered no then let the U.S. Military do their jobs, and unless you have an idea that will actually speed things up leave them alone.
