Some people say that the NBA is the best field of play when it comes to basketball. The NBA is filled with a bunch of trash-talkers who happen to have some really impressive skills on the court. However, in college ball, smarts win the game. Selfishness tends not to be an issue because everyone on the team is willing to share the ball with their teammates. Imagine that you are at professional game where the "star" player is doing all the scoring and hardly any defense. The basics mean more in college leagues and players work harder.
Not only is the game itself improved on the college level, but fans tend to enjoy college games more than NBA games. Rivalries are extremely more prevalent in the college league because players on the college level embrace the heart of the game not just its money.
