My first baby on the way and i had a long list of things to buy for my baby that could take over an entire room. but when had to cut it down to just bare essentials , fewer things were most important to keep my baby comfortable, warm and satisfy myself.
1. first came a crib. i wanted a medium sized crib that also had a smaller sized swing bassinet within it for when she few months old, so she can be cradled to sleep easily.. also that her crib was covered by a net so no mosquito or insects could harm her.
2. a wardrobe for her with drawers. easy to keep all her clothes, her towels and nappies, all her clothing in appropriate places in the same wardrobe.
3. bathing accessories, massage oil, rash cream, extra bibs, small towels to clean after her burbs, cleaning wipes and cotton balls, etc.
4. a small round pillow, sleeping bag for the infant. woolen caps, mittens, and socks are most often needed to keep the baby warm and comfortable.
5. baby changing area, that could only incliude a changing mat or a faom or even a changing stand, its easy on the parents, especially for the mommy who can keep her back in a comfortable position. this should include a trash can, covered one if possible , dont forget that, or esle the room would satrt smelling bad..
6. a thermometere should be kept in safe place but accessible to keep a check on the baby's body temperature as the baby is too sensitive and keeping a good watch on them as highly recommended. therefore also keep a fever relief medicne and a doctors number to contact as soon as needed..
For me there may be endless essentials and some i might have forgotten to mention but htese are the most essential necessities i bought for my baby.
