If Jesus were on the earth today, would he be a Republican or a Democrat

If Jesus were alive on the earth today, He would not be a Republican, or a Democrat, He would not take sides. The 33 years He was on earth, He never considered Himself to be any certain religion. He would not single out any party to be a member of, He would want to help everyone. He didn't think much of the religious leaders of His time and would not think much of the political leaders of today. Some of the political leaders are just as corrupt today, as the religious leaders of Bible days. They couldn't see their own faults, they only looked for the faults in others. They were part of the reason Jesus was crucified.

He would want both parties to get along, no name calling, no gossip, no lies. He wants everybody to be peaceful, He is a peacemaker, and stands for everything that's right. That would stop all the bad things going on in both parties.

Jesus would try to help both parties. He loves everyone, that would make the parties angry, there would be a conflict of interest.

In John 8:7 Jesus said, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone." Both parties throws the stones, then they dig up their sins. They keep digging up things about others, as far back as they can go. Jesus would know before they threw the stones what faults they have. He would know what is truly in their hearts, even what they are thinking. They couldn't get by lying to Him, that would stop their stone throwing, and clean up both parties.

I'm going to put it to you this way, neither party would want Jesus on their side, because He knows way too much! He is too good, He is not a name caller and does not commit adultery. He forgives and forgets, something they never learned to do. They would soon learn what the Ten Commandments stand for! And they would learn how they should treat others. There would be a big change in how both parties would run their elections. Their elections would be fair to everyone and very interesting, indeed. Everything that was said, we would know to be the truth. This is not something we are familiar with in our political scene.

Last, but not least, He would know the outcome of every election, without recounting the votes. They couldn't try to cheat in anyway. He would be present in all the voting centers, while the voting was taking place, on both sides. All these things would make both parties angry, He would be taken to court for doing nothing wrong, Just as before! They would crucified Him again!
