Staying positive is something we all would like to do. I mean millions of articles are written and read on the subject annually; yet so many of us have a problem following the advice provided by these articles, friends, family, and clergy. Why it is it we like to fall into the realm of negativity? Is it that being negative is easier?

I am not to sure about others, but for me it is easier to see the darker side of a situation then the brighter. If you read my blogs you may know that I've been in a rut. I am having a hard time finding a job that pays well. I am living at home with my mom and sister, which can be difficult. Last, I have moved to a place where I have few friends. I wish I could see the brighter side of my situations, but I feel like I just don't have the energy.

Energy maybe that is why it is so easy to stay negative; I feel sometimes that it takes so much energy to be positive. Or maybe it just takes so much energy because I am faking being positive. For me I have always been the half empty glass kind of person. Although I try to stay upbeat for those around me.

How do you see the brighter side or the half full glass? I am not sure. What has worked for me in the pass has been to find people who can truly find the good in a situation. Often what will happen is I will switch roles. For them I can see the glass half full, for me they do like wise.

Maybe this is why we need people in our lives. We can not fulfill every gap in our life on our own. I guess this is why I am happy I have family, a boyfriend, and friends That can say "Nadia snap out of it, you will be OK." Thanks to everyone who listens, you have no idea how it helps.
