The Couch
I once liked a girl
but, she didn't like me
I once liked a girl
but, she didn't like me
She held the couch captive
ruling with no snores
I built up the courage
She just slept
I never did this
but, her lips weren't moving
I leaned over her
She just slept
Her presence was angelic
but she was the death of me
I couldn't help but want
This feeling to go away
I prayed to my God
I wasn't supposed to feel this way
God said it's not okay
but, I just couldn't stop
She opened her eyes
to see another girl
Leaning over her
She didn't kiss back
I apologized to God
Over and over
Since I was a girl
He didn't understand
The couch was set free
but I never was
God, I can't help it
He just slept
I once liked a girl
but, she didn't like me
I once liked a girl
but, she didn't like me
