America over the years has always been known as the peoples' defender. Not just only the American people but the world has greatly benefited from the America power. Kudos goes to America for ending the Communist reign; world war one and two; the Persian dominance; the Castro depressed leadership; and many more. No sensible person will discredit these activities as not worth while, therefore judging on past precedents; it will also not be fair on America to say its war on terrorism should not be acclaimed "good".
Osama Bin Ladin is not a Muslim; he is an extremist and a terrorist. I want to state that at no time was Osama Bin ladden appointed to be the Islam speaker. Osama is more or less a cult leader himself just like how Mohammed or any other religious leader is portrayed. Bin Laden has instituted his own Religion and I will advice him to stop disguising under the name Islam -especially his recent aired speech that all American should embrace Islam.
Having established this fact, that Islam is not correlated with Osama, neither is Islam linked with terrorism, furthermore, no good thinking human being will delight pleasure in the death of another person irrespective of the person origin or religious belief. Islam is synonymous to peace; Mohammed, Ali and all the other caliphates of old will be really amazed to what some people have criminally turned the beautiful "thing" they fashioned for themselves and followers.
Inasmuch as America is justified in the fight against terrorism, it is also saddening to say that America has helped make the world less secured. The approach to the fight was wrong. It is based on fail in strategy, probable America was too much in hurry to crush Osama and his colleagues including Saddam Husseyn. Judging from resent analysis, the war on terrorism is not making winning strides. Bin Ladin is still very much alive, since after the attack of September 11 there has occur other attacks that are human terrorizing -like the London train blast. Then in Iraq, terrorist have taken over the whole nation.
Americans are afraid of its own internal security. Every thing is under alert expecting an attack at anytime. Suspicion is on the look of every American when they see a "typify Muslim" approaching them. A typical America is skeptical in associating with other people, but the situation is heightened now after the 911 saga.
Has the world become more secured after 911? The answer is a big NO! Is Osama and his religious followers strengthened? The answer is a big Yes! Is America opened to future attacks? Yes and Yes!
The consequences of the failed strategy are tied more on the activities of America in Iraqi than on its chase of Osama. America is paying for a miscalculated adventure in Iraq, how I wish they had listened to the voice of the other nations who were not opposing the idea to stop Sadam but were saying hold a concrete reason to do so.
America should now re-strategize and the earlier the better, if not history will not be kind on America. One bad egg spoils the lot good ones; the bad is quickly remembered, the world will soon forget all the good deeds of America and America will be seen in the light of bad. Please America, Please.
