The way you grill the perfect steak is in the preparation, first you need the right kind of steak, which is a grilling type, such as sirloin or any other. Then you gotta know what you like to eat, what i mean by this is you like a dry rub or a wet steak. Then you got to decide on the how well done you want your meat. A good indicator is to invest in a instant read digital thermometer which can run anywhere from 15 to 25 bucks on average, a perfect investment for all types of meat. The degree of doneness is indicated as the following at 140 degrees its rare, at 150 degrees its med rare, at 160 degrees its medium, at 165 degrees its well done and any temp higher is well done. The last thing you need to know to make that perfect steak on the grill is that the steak remains cooking about 5 extra degrees once its pulled off the heat source, for example if you want a med rare steak pull it off the grill at about 145 degrees. Another good fact to know about grilling steaks is that you want the steak to rest before cutting into it, reason being is to let the juice settle, if you cut the steak right off the bat you'll extract all of the juices, which is the flavor of the steak. Hope this helped some people with grilling steaks, and enjoy!
