"River's Reflection"
On bended knee
a mirrored beauty
splashes backward
with each melodious
ripple of spring
So far from home,
yet only a step away
in misty illusions
as eyes take comfort
bathed in pure abandon
Unmeasured currents
beneath sun and moon
on the bank
of a river that never-
runs dry

You and I are like a river

From the darkness, into the light

Dark and dank it brings,
Forth the clay and sand,
To cover human things.
